As you receive your tax slips, here’s a checklist to help keep your records organized and avoid missing deductions. It is also a reminder of the information you need to bring to your tax appointment.

Personal Documents

o 2012 personal tax return (if return was not prepared by us)
o 2012 Notice of Assessment
o 2013 tax instalment payments
o Employment income slips T-4
o Investment income slips T-3, T-5
o Other income slips T-4A, T4RIF, T4RSP, T4A(P), T4OAS
o Brokerage statements with details of sale of stocks etc.
o Declaration of conditions of employment form T2200
o RRSP Contribution
o Charitable donation receipts
o Medical expenses receipts
o Tuition fees and interest paid on student loans
o Professional dues
o Children’s physical activity and arts program receipts
